What is an Intensive Outpatient Program?
An IOP is a non-hospital, intensive treatment experience designed for adults whose clinical needs go beyond routine outpatient therapy.
How do I know if I need the IOP?
If your persistent symptoms of addiction are interfering with your ability to function in your daily life, and you have ongoing symptoms of frequent relapse, intense triggers to use, anxiety, significant depression, and may have tried other treatment centers unsuccessfully, then you may be eligible for the IOP.
What is the structure of the IOP?
The IOP with ABC Wellness Centre offers a unique treatment approach, and is run by master’s level clinical professionals who specialize in the treatment of addiction. Most importantly, it was designed with you in mind.
Program runs 3 hours a day, 3 days a week,
for 8 weeks
Comfortable group setting for up to 10
participants
Individual and group interaction to explore all
aspects of the addictive process
Teaches practical craving-reduction skills and
relapse prevention strategies
Family education and involvement is offered
Ongoing support after completion of the program
How do I schedule an assessment?
To schedule an appointment, call the ABC Wellness Centre appointment desk at 480-991-9818. You will meet with an IOP clinician who will determine if you are eligible for the IOP.
What is the payment for IOP?
You may be eligible for the Treatment Assistance Program which helps to cover the total cost. Or, we have packages that bundle your services into a monthly payment option.
